Rayner Equipment Systems -now An Etnyre International Company. Our goal is to create and build the best performing, most reliable and longest lasting sealcoating, slurry seal, and micro surfacing machines available.
Engineered for Performance!
Engineered for Reliability!
Engineered for Life!
Gordon Rayner started in the pavement maintenance industry in 1974, in 1979 his brother Rich joined him full time. Together they established their company as a leader in the pavement maintenance industry, not just in California, but recognized around the world.
As they grew to understand the industry, it was apparent that there was room for improvement, particularly with the quality and reliability of equipment. During the 1970′s and early 80′s the business struggled with slurry equipment that, despite being brand new, was in constant need of repairs and maintenance. With both Gordon and Rich having mechanical backgrounds (Gordon as an Air Force pilot and Rich as a GM troubleshooter), building their own equipment seemed like a cost-effective idea. As they explained “when you consider the costs of downtime, investing the money in quality components for both performance and reliability made a lot of sense.”
With this concept the brothers began designing and manufacturing their own slurry and micro-surfacing machine – the RoadSaver. It did not take long for people in the industry to discover the reliability and hard-working capabilities of the RoadSaver and companies began to ask Gordon and Rich to build this new machine for their own slurry crews. Seeing the gap in the market and having the ingenuity and expertise to accomplish this dream, Rayner Equipment Systems was born.
Today Rayner Equipment Systems has hundreds of RoadSavers in service around the world with a reliability and support second to none. Being the visionaries that they are, Rayner Equipment Systems began to see other gaps in the industry and developed new machines to fill the void in the market of high-quality, reliable, top-of-the-line pavement maintenance machines.
With the RoadSaver II as a major player in the world slurry market, Rich turned his design efforts to the sealcoat industry and the PavementSaver series was born. “Other manufacturers thought we were crazy building a high quality, high performance sealcoat machine. The market won’t support it we were told” explained Gordon. “But we needed machines for our own use and others began to see the value in a high-performance machine as well. Soon the who’s who of high-end sealcoat contractors were buying PavementSavers.” It was not long before the PavementSaver’s performance and high production capabilities prompted a few contractors to turn to the street and road market which led to larger than expected contracts. This created a demand for an even larger, spray only unit designed to distribute fine aggregate filled sealcoats and the RaynMaker was born. Rayner Equipment Systems continues to design and build new spray machines such as the RaynMaker III.
Ever-evolving, Rayner Equipment Systems released the RoadSaver IIIG in the spring of 2009. This machine made an immediate impact on the industry and has become the most sought-after machine design with its environmentally friendly features, significant sound reduction and high-speed production. This has all the trimmings of the RoadSaver II except one major detail – it does not have a side engine! The RoadSaver IIIG is the “new standard” in the Microsurfacing industry, particularly in states where Air Quality controls are becoming to be more rigorous. See how the RoadSaver IIIG can save you time and money!
The RoadSaver IIIG, PavementSaver III, PavementSaver II and RaynMaker series are examples of the innovative, dynamic and visionary nature of the company. These machines have pushed the industry boundaries of what was considered the “highest standard” in quality, reliability, efficiency and safety.
